A shared purpose and thousands of kilometers between them

‘No man is an island here. We cannot stand alone. We need other people, other teams to be able to perform our work’, reflects Filipino nurse Caressa, to her Chilean colleague Alexis.

And with that, the two nurses – from different continents and who have never met – discover how they are different, but most of all what unites them.

Alexis and Caressa are part of an initiative that celebrates diversity, unity, and the positive impact of nurses and clinical teams across the world. Fresenius Medical Care brings together two nurses, who are a world apart, to join each other on a ‘virtual blind date’.

Throughout their lively and heartfelt conversation, they quickly form a profound connection and explore all the ways in which they are United in Care.
